I have had Fuqua Cooling and Heating do work for me before at my rental house, and was already well aware of his expertise in heating and cooling equipment and installation. However, I had no idea just how BADLY my old unit was running. This new unit is a dream come true! My old unit would never cool this mobile home below 80 degrees in the summer, and I had a gas heater that basically stopped working several years ago. Leaving me with no heat only space heaters. Fuqua put in a new heat pump for me. I love this new unit. Now my home cools at exactly the level I want, I cant wait to try out the new heat pump this winter. I saved $70 last month on my light bill. Everyone at Fuqua are very professional, and they left my home as clean or cleaner than when they started. They answered all my questions and put me to ease about the financing. I am so thankful to Fuqua for their excellent work!!

I have a very busy life. When you work Monday through Friday, 8-5, it makes it very difficult to make appointments to get an estimate. I contacted five different heating and air-conditioning contractors. Three of them wanted to charge me anywhere from $50-$100 to come out after 5 pm or on a Saturday to review the job and give me an estimate. One contractor said that after 5 pm or on a Saturday was just flat out of the question.
Joey Fuqua, owner and operator of Fuqua Cooling and Heating, came to look at the job I had. Joey looked through the house listening to what I wanted and how I wanted it. When I was through, Joey started asking questions and pointing out things about heating and air conditioning that I never knew. He asked me how cool I like the house in the summer and how warm in the winter, if I had floor or ceiling vents, how much insulation was in the attic, and many more that I cannot remember. A few days later, Joey mailed me an estimate with three different systems and prices. This way I had more than one choice and it was like getting three different estimates from one place. Joey and his employees came in and installed the unit of my choice in a very professional and timely manner. After everything was completed and running, Joey took the time to go over the care and upkeep of my new system, the warranty, the paperwork, and to let me know how much he appreciated my business. I would not hesitate to recommend Fuqua Cooling and Heating.

I thought I'd take a moment to tell you how pleased I was with the experience having you install a new heating and air conditioning system in my house.
During the estimate survey, you asked all the right questions and listened to my answers. All of the other contractors who bid on the installation continued to push heat pumps after I had stated my intention to remain with natural gas heating ? To the point I am convinced that Gulf Power must be offering some sort of kick back to contractors who convince their customers to make the switch. You did not try to sell either too much capacity, or too much efficiency; you provided the estimates I asked for. You gave me an accurate schedule, when you could do the work and how long it would take.
The installation process was a pleasure as well. Your team was on time, and went immediately to work I took a "personal business" day from work to be at home during the installation but my presence wasn't really necessary. There was no instance where I felt corners were being cut or I needed to intercede with "you need to do this, or do it this way".
The new system is a distinct improvement over the old, even before the old developed the freon leak. I am impressed with how well it maintains temperature and humidity despite running for very short periods, and infrequently comparatively. I look forward to the savings from the increased efficiency of the system.
I also appreciated the thank you card; it is the personal touch that guarantees repeat customers.
